In the world of music it is rare to come across originality and experimentation that pushes the boundaries while still being listener friendly. But if there is a band out there that are attempting to do just this it is the up and coming Perth post-rock outfit Zeks.

Zeks began jamming in mid 2010 at the Kurb art space in Perth. Initially conceived as an experimental jam band, as the band developed and the members grew, Zeks transformed into a complex and lush post-rock band.

In May this year Zeks released their debut 4-track EP and have begun recording towards their full length album, due out in early 2012.
